I wasn't here today but here's my best try at this
In American culture we our more highly educated than you would be in Indian culture like the slums
American culture also has alot more wealth than Indian culture. The Indian culture has alot more population than we do. In the Indian culture they're goverment is also alot more strict and brutal, since they would torture their own citizens. American culture is also cleaner, like the water and more food.

Chorus:
- Be glorious, our free Fatherland,
- Age-old union of fraternal peoples,
- Ancestor-given wisdom of the people!
- Be glorious, our country! We are proud of you!
From the southern seas to the polar lands
Spread are our forests and fields.
You are unique in the world, one of a kind –
This native land protected by God!

Wide spaces for dreams and for living
Are opened for us by the coming years
Our loyalty to the Fatherland gives us strength.
Thus it was, thus it is and thus it always will be!

Today in class we went over why the united states is not the worlds greatest country. Honestly i agree with this, over the past 100 years or so, we have gone down in literacy rates, death rates, and almost everything important. And we are number one in putting people in jail. I believe people are abusing the freedom we have and are being lazy. We can be the best country again if we tried and had better leaders, but we don't

Also i got my Science brain flex read by Mr. Schick. The hardest test question to me was probably the quote " The unexamined life is not worth living" i believed the quote meant to live life with no regrets.

Today in class we got new seats but nobody liked it at all. So we used what we learned in class about the Greek's democracy and how everyone voted on what they did. We had students come present their case on why we should move our seats back. Literally the whole class we did that. After a vote about 90% of the class said we should change seats. Also my new name for class is Dayquan. Another thing is a sit right by Jack and James, which means on days we can do what we want, we'll be able to watch film for football.

Agora- was a central spot in ancient Greek city-states
Arete- means "excellence of any kind".[1] The term may also mean "moral virtue".
Polis- literally means city in Greek. It can also mean citizenship and body of citizens.
508 BC - The year 508 BC was a year of the pre-Julian Roman calendar. In the Roman Empire it was known as the year of the Consulship of Poplicola and Tricipitinus
Socrates - was a classical Greek (Athenian) philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. He is an enigmatic figure known chiefly through the accounts of classical writers
The death of Socrates- is a 1787 oil on canvas painting by the French painter Jacques-Louis David. Like many of his works from that decade, the painting focuses on a classical subject, in this case the story of the execution of Socrates, as told by Plato in his Phaedo.
Socratic Method- named after the classical Greek philosopher Socrates, is a form of inquiry and discussion between individuals, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to illuminate ideas. It is adialectical method, often involving a discussion in which the defense of one point of view is questioned; one participant may lead another to contradict himself in some way, thus strengthening the inquirer's own point.
Being called an idiot in ancient Greece- In ancient Greece, the inventors of democracy set up a law that required every person to vote, regardless of who they voted for. If anyone was found not voting, the person would be publicly marked and labeled an idiot

Today in class we went over A Message to Garcia which was written in 1899. It was about President McKinley trying to get a message to a man in Cuba named Garcia during the Spanish-American war.
Nobody could get to Cuba but one man named rowan did it with no questions asked. It showed how most people would make excuses or say they cant do it. We also went over the ALS ice bucket challenge and how it raised over 50 million dollars. I have done it and i thought it was pretty cool, i also donated 10 dollars to ALS.
